The Pumpkin Patch

I don't know if it's the bright orange color or the faces on the carved ones, but Bruce LOVES pumpkins. He smiles and laughs every time he sees one! It cracks me up! Now that we're back home from the hospital and the little man is feeling better, we took him to the Pumpkin Patch on Saturday to pick out his first pumpkin. He found a mini pumpkin that he could carry around with him and then we picked out a few to carve. So Saturday night we had a fun night of carving pumpkins and eating the roasted seeds!

Visit to the Hospital

Little Bruce has been awfully sick this past week. He came down with the flu last Monday night and fought high fevers all week. Poor little guy. Then on Saturday, he was admitted into All Children's hospital with pneumonia and we've been here ever since. He's doing better, but we're waiting for the results from the chest x-ray this afternoon before we will find out when we will be discharged.

6 Years Already!!!

Can you believe that Bruce and I have been married for 6 years already on Oct. 4th?! We celebrated our anniversary with a weekend at Siesta Key Beach, FL. It was so much fun! We found a great little spot just a short walk from the beach. It was so nice and relaxing. We got to see a fisherman catch a 5 foot black tipped shark on Friday night at the beach! That was crazy to see! And we got to meet Dick Vitale (the college basketball announcer that says "AWESOME BABY!!!") at the Broken Egg - this great breakfast spot right in the village. Can't wait to go back again soon!
